Two MSc and seven undergraduate students were attached to Kumi and Serere sub-counties where they provided agricultural extension services for three months (May-July, 2019). The undergraduate students were hosted by households within in the farming communities and interacted with the farmers on aspects of the food and nutrition security, transfer of improved agricultural innovations as well as ensuring that farmers begin to realize their potential and opportunities in agribusiness. To achieve this, students have been able to intermingle with farmers on a household basis as well as in groups, to establish vegetable demonstration gardens in different households and conduct plant clinics.

Events: A dissemination workshop was held on 30-7-19. During the workshop both the students and the farmers shared their experiences.
